SAGE, PALO SANTO & SELENITE

Ancient cultures and indigenous peoples have long used the powerful and beautiful practice of smudging to heal, protect and call-in good energy. We are wholehearted honored to carry on this tradition, to help you use these time-honored tools passed down from very wise souls to help you burn away the negative, call in the positive, be at peace and always protected.

Sage is heavy duty cleanser used to clear out and purify all energies. It's also a very powerful disinfectant as it has anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties in it. Sage purists recommend burning one leaf at a time, but you can burn the whole bundle.

To use create a burning ember in your bundle with matches or a light, then waive the bundle around you and 

the space you’re smudging, stamp out when done. We love using sage when we feel a deep cleaning is in order, we sage spaces, people and ever our crystals!

Palo Santo is more of a gentle purifying. When burned it smells heavenly, from an aromatherapy standpoint it is 

incredibly calming and soothing and from the energetic side of things Palo Santo burns away negative energy and calls in positive healing vibes. Again, light up your Palo Santo with matches of a lighter, get an ember crackling. Waive around you and your space the same way you did with your sage. We burn Palo Santo every morning to start our day off right.

**The most important part about using Sage or Palo Santo is to be sure you’ve got a good intention in your heart. Example, “I’m clearing out the heavy energy and calling in peace.” or “Thank you for this space, the protection it provides and love that lives here."
